Mahsa T. Pourazad

Dr. Mahsa T. Pourazad received her Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2010. She is currently a Senior Engineer at TELUS Tech Strategy and Business Transform Unit, and an Adjunct Professor with the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at UBC. Her research interests include digital video acquisition, video processing, end-to-end video content delivery, deep learning, machine learning, and quality of experience. She is a member at large of IEEE CTSoc Board of Governors and the Chair of CTSoc MDA (Machine learning, Deep learning and AI in CE) Technical Committee. She has been an active member of the Standard Council of Canada (SCC), and MPEG.
