Cheng-Hung (Dixson) Lin

cheng hung linDr. Cheng-Hung (Dixson) Lin, MIEEE is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yuan Ze University (YZU), Taiwan. His research interests include very-large-scale integration signal processing and systems for communication systems (main focus), memory systems, digital signal processing systems, and artificial intelligence for medicine. He has served as a technical program committee member in the 2021 IEEE ICCE, 2020 IEEE ICCE-TW, 2018-2020 IEEE GCCE, and 2020 VLSI/CAD. He also has served as the Session Chair at the 2015 IEEE GCCE, 2014 IEEE ISCE, 2012 ITC-CSCC, and 2014, 2020 VLSI/CAD. He was a recipient of the Gold (1st) Prize, Excellent Poster Award at the 2019 IEEE GCCE, 2nd prize, Excellent Paper Award at the 2016 IEEE GCCE, and the Best Paper Award at the 2017 ITC-CSCC. He has also served as a reviewer for numerous technical journals including IEEE Trans. Signal Processing, IEEE Trans. Circuits and Systems: Part I, IEEE Trans. Circuits and Systems: Part II, IEEE Trans. Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems, IET Communications, IET Computers & Digital Techniques, Electronics letters, etc. While pursuing his Ph.D. degree, his research works have earned Best Design at the 2010 CIC Outstanding Chip Design, and several awards in the MXIC Design Contests from 2005–2009. In 2019, he received the Yuan Ze University Young Scholar Research Award. From August 2019 to present, he has served as a Deputy Director of Biomedical Engineering Research Center, YZU. In 2021, he received the Yuan Ze University Excellence Award in Guidance and Service.
